PROVO — Having spent one season starting at the guard position for Utah State, Weylin Lapuaho ranks as the No. 23-ranked player on this year’s BYU football roster, as voted on by the ESPN960 staff. The 6-foot-4, 310 pound transfer looked the part of an immediate contributor throughout the Cougar spring football session, on top of his exploits at Utah State.

“Weylin is an underrated prospect and proved as much during his one season playing at Utah State,” said Ben Criddle, who hosts Cougar Sports with Ben Criddle on ESPN960. “He’s a dog who started all 13 games as a freshman, had 14 pancake blocks and didn’t allow a single sack. He’s easily one of the most underrated transfers BYU had this offseason.”

We’ll be counting down all of those included on our top 25 list leading up to the 2023 Cougar football season.
