PROVO — There’s several players that were difficult to rank, although Chaz Ah You could well be argued the most difficult. To say the 6-foot-2, 220 pound senior linebacker has had a tumultuous career would be an understatement. Injuries and position changes have beset Ah You, but he’s back for one final season as a Cougar having put on the necessary weight to play at linebacker.
Recently graduated, Ah You has the ability to not only contribute, but to become a defensive leader and primary playmaker with his superior intangibles in being employed just off the line of scrimmage.

"It was tears for eyes. It's been quite the journey for him, my wife and I, and the support for him. With everything he's gone through, the ups and downs, the injuries … for him to persevere and to get the BYU degree… pic.twitter.com/pWVNqK7JA6

“Chaz Ah You is one of the most talented players to come through the program during the past six years,” assessed Ben Criddle who hosts Cougar Sport with Ben Criddle on ESPN960. “His potential is through the roof and we all know he can make plays when he’s on the field. The keys are to keep him healthy and to put him in the right position. He’s in the best shape of his life and hopefully we’ll finally get to see him at his full potential.”
