BYU football 1-25: No. 18 Paul Maile

With 17 starts at center for the University of Utah under his belt, including 12 starts last season, Paul Maile looks to contribute mightily to BYU’s offensive line success in 2023. The 6-foot-2, 300 pound East High School product looks to start at either center or at one of the two guard positions for the Cougars this season, providing his new team with a wealth of experience. That experience should prove key in marshaling more than several talented additions to BYU’s front into a cohesive and productive unit.

“Paul Maile is a smart, savvy and experienced football player whose presence should bring a better sense of cohesiveness among the many new additions to BYU’s offensive front this season,” said Ben Criddle, host of Cougar Sports with Ben Criddle on ESPN960. “Having his presence along the interior of BYU’s offensive line, along with the presence of Connor Pay, should benefit the overall play of the unit considerably.”
