BYU suffered through a 4-9 record in the 2017 season, but that hasn’t stopped BYU’s ability to land scheduling agreements with Power Five programs.

The Cougars announced on Monday a home-and-home series with North Carolina State from the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Here’s the announcement from BYU’s official press release

PROVO, Utah — Brigham Young University and NC State University today announced the schools have agreed to a home-and-home football series for the 2024 and 2030 seasons.

The Cougars and Wolfpack will meet for the first time in football at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Nov. 9, 2024, with the second game being played at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Aug. 29, 2030.

BYU currently has four games on the 2024 schedule and two games now on the 2030 schedule.  Yes, 2030…12 years from now. Let’s all pray the world is still around by then so BYU can see a pair of ACC teams travel to Provo with Virginia Tech being the other ACC school on the schedule.

NC State is one of five teams on BYU’s future schedules that the Cougars have never played.
