LeBron James Injury Update

LeBron James’ right foot is feeling a lot better. The NBA star has been seen shooting free throws for the first time since his injury. There is still no firm timetable for him to return, though.

The Lakers believe he will need a significant chunk of the remainder of the season to ramp back up. James is set to be re-evaluated in a week and a half, but he is expected to be out beyond then. There are less than four weeks remaining in the regular season.

And right now, they’re in tenth place in the Western Conference, meaning if the season were to start today, The Lakers would have to battle through the play-in tournament to make the playoffs. James has only missed the playoffs three times in his exceptionally long career. So will this season add a fourth miss to The King’s resume? Do you think LeBron was referring to some of his teammates when he said his son is “definitely better” than some NBA players?

Who are your picks for the championship matchup this year? Who will take it?
