The Utah Valley Baseball team hosted members of the media Wednesday morning during its annual media day events. The team got things kicked off by speaking to the media in various forms, both in press conference and one-on-one fashion. ESPN 960’s Brice Larson and Jordan Bianucci were there to cover the event in its entirety.
Following the interviews, members of the media were invited to take part in some batting practice at UCCU Ballpark in Orem. An exercise aimed to show just how hard it can be to step into that pressure filled box and come away with a base hit.
Update:
Didn’t happen. Humbled.
Shout out to @CoachEddieSmith and the entire @UVUbsb team and staff for a great day at one of the most beautiful ballparks in the country!
Stay tuned, we will have all the interviews and media from the day up on https://t.co/eM9i85qYSL shortly! https://t.co/EbEe73WGy9 pic.twitter.com/jR6APrfsSu

Utah Valley has the pieces to have an outstanding season in 2024. Returning the majority of its starters from last season, including the likes of Daniel Dickenson who was named a Freshman All-American a season ago and many other players that garnered national attention.
One common team goal stood out among all of the different interviews:
Win the Western Athletic Conference title.
