Utah Valley head coach Todd Phillips has announced that Austin Peay forward Caleb Stone-Carrawell has transferred to Utah Valley and will play for the Wolverines this next season. “Caleb is a fantastic get for us and we’re thrilled that he will be a Wolverine,” said Phillips. “He’s a 6-7 wing that is built to score. He can beat you off the bounce as well as spot up from three. We expect big things from Caleb this year. He has great blood lines. His Dad Chris is a Duke legend and current assistant coach for the Blue Devils.” Stone-Carrawell, a 210-pound, 6-foot-7 forward, played the last two seasons at Austin Peay where he averaged nearly 10 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game over his two years with the Governors. He shot 45.2 percent from the field and a 33.6 percent clip from long range. The Concord, North Carolina native scored double figures in seven of his 15 games last season. He scored a season-high 17 points in a win over Albany. He played 24 games and made 16 starts during the 2021-22 season, averaging 11.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.  The Austin Peay transfer also spent two seasons at Charlotte from 2019-21. After redshirting his first season with the 49ers, he appeared in 13 games as a redshirt freshman, averaging 1.9 points and 9.8 minutes per game. Stay up to date on the latest UVU news with ESPN 960 and find the full press release at GoUVU.com
