The Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers Square Off Tonight

The Utah Jazz (13-26) welcome in the Los Angeles Lakers (12-28) to EnergySolutions Arena tonight at 7:00 PM. The Lakers come into the game on a back-to-back after losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. The Jazz have been off since Tuesday when they lost to the Golden State Warriors. Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers is not expected to play tonight as the Lakers are resting their 36 year old star. Bryant scored 19 points and handed out a career-high 17 assists on Thursday.

Rodney Hood of the Utah Jazz participated fully at shoot around today and has been upgraded to doubtful for tonight’s game. He has been out with left foot inflammation.

It will be interesting to see how both teams perform tonight as the Lakers are on a back-to-back and without Kobe Bryant. The Jazz have been off since Tuesday, that could be a good thing or a bad thing. The Jazz will need to get off to a quick start tonight if they want to be successful.
