The Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets are in Action Tonight

The Utah Jazz (27-36) welcome in the Houston Rockets (43-21) to EnergySolutions Arena tonight at 7:00 PM.  The Jazz are coming off a victory on Tuesday where they beat the New York Knicks.  The Rockets were on the road last night and fell to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Gordon Hayward is listed as questionable for tonight’s game but he says that he is expecting to play.  He missed his first game of the season on Tuesday against the Knicks.  Gordon Hayward is leading the team in scoring this year at 19.5 points per game.  It was evident on Tuesday how much Gordon Hayward means to this team.  he is definitely one of the leaders on this team.  Here he is alongside Derrick favors with the media following shoot around today:

Derrick Favors is coming off of a solid game on Tuesday when he scored 29 points against the Knicks.  20 of those points came in the first half of play.  He continues to lead the team in rebounds at 8.3 boards a game. He is second in scoring at 16.4 points per game.

The Houston Rockets have won their last three meetings against the Utah Jazz by an average of 21.3 points. Harden had 18 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds in a 104-93 road win October 29, before scoring 30 in a 97-82 home victory January 10.  James Harden is an outstanding player.  The Jazz will have to do their best to slow him down.  This will be a tough test for the Jazz.  They can’t play like they did on Tuesday if they want to have a chance.

Utah Jazz Head Coach Quin Snyder met with the media following shoot around and gave his thoughts on his team and the Rockets:
