The Utah Jazz (21-43) defeat the San Antonio Spurs (34-22) on Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena 90-81. The Jazz were led in scoring by Trey Burke who finishes the night with 23 points on 9-17 shooting. Gordon Hayward scores 18 points while Derrick Favors adds a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Rudy Gobert grabs 14 rebounds, blocks 3 shots, and scores 7 points.
With the win, the Jazz have now won 4 out of 5 games and will go up against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM at EnergySolutions Arena.
The Jazz held the Spurs to 40.5% shooting and scored 17 points off of 22 Spurs’ turnovers. Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs with 14 points while Boris Diaw adds 13 points in the loss.
