The Utah Jazz Defeat the Charlotte Hornets 94-66

The Utah Jazz improve to 30-36 on the season as they defeat the Charlotte Hornets (29-36) 94-66 Monday night at Energy Solutions Arena.

The Jazz were led in scoring by rookie guard Rodney Hood who scores a career-high 24 points on 9 of 11 shooting including 5 for 5 behind the 3-point line.  He is getting more confident every game and talked with the media following the win:


Gordon Hayward chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds in the win and is very pleased with how the team is playing right now.  He met with the media after the game.  Here is that audio:


Dante Exum scores 11 points in the victory as well as handed out 3 assists in 27 minutes of play.  He talked with the media after the game about the team’s win:


The Utah Jazz set a franchise record for 3-pointers made in a quarter by make 8 in the first quarter.  They also set a franchise record for most 3-pointers in a half by making 12 in the first half of play.  The finished the night making 15 out of 24.  The Jazz scored 61 points in the first which was the most points they have scored in the first half this season.  Utah Jazz Head Coach Quin Snyder is happy with the progression of his team.  He caught up with the media following the game:


The Utah Jazz wrap up their 5-game home stand on Wednesday as they will take on the Washington Wizards at 8:30 PM.
