Matt Haarms Breaks Down Why He Chose BYU

BYU snagged one of the top players on the transfer market early this morning in Purdue’s Matt Haarms. Haarms, a 7’3″ star from the Netherlands, averaged 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game last season for the Boilermakers.

Haarms talked with ESPN 960’s Ben Criddle this afternoon to break down why he chose the Cougars over Kentucky and Texas Tech and what role he hopes BYU Head Coach Mark Pope can play as he pursues the NBA.
