Michael Block, a 46-year-old Club Professional, stunned everyone with his performance over the weekend at the PGA Championship. Block was able to secure a top 15 finish at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York thanks to this hole-in-one on the 15th hole Sunday.

Following his round, Block had an emotional interview with CBS Sports where he described his journey to get to this point as a PGA Club pro. Block mentioned that he had to tune out all of the added attention he received throughout the weekend to focus on his play.
“I’m living a dream. I’m making sure that I enjoy this moment. I’ve learned that after my 46 years of life, it’s not going to get better than this. There’s no way.”

With a top 15 finish over the weekend, Block recieved an invite to play in next years PGA Championship that is scheduled to take place at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky as well as a sponsor exemption into next weeks Les Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
