The 2019 NFL Draft is almost here! Beginning this Thursday evening at 6 PM MST the names of college football stars will begin to be called and they’ll become the newest members of one of the 32 NFL franchises. The NFL Draft consists of 7 rounds and 254 total selections.

Sione Takitaki on the NFL Draft process
Of that list, Sione Takitaki has been the highlight of pre-draft workouts as well as BYU’s official Pro Day. Takitaki has visited a quarter of the NFL teams for individual workouts, testing, and interviews. He joined our show last week to discuss what that process has been like and this is what he had to say:

According to DraftAnalyst.com, Takitaki is one of the eight players they list that could go earlier than projected comparing him to former Cougar, Fred Warner, from last year’s draft class. They also mentioned the following:
“Right now, it seems like the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals are the favorites for his services.”
