Saints Forced To Move Practice To Texas After Hurricane Ida Evacuations

With Hurricane Ida slamming into Louisiana with winds of 150 mph Sunday afternoon, the New Orleans Saints are moving forward with backup practice plans.

The team will now practice at the home of the Dallas Cowboys for the next few days.

According to the Associated Press, the team is scheduled to hold workouts Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at AT & T Stadium before taking a break heading into the regular season.

The Saints are scheduled to open at home on September 12 against Green Bay.

The Saints were forced to move for the entire 2005 season after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans.
