So far, so much fun!
I’m proud to be given the opportunity to solo host (3 hours) the first morning sports talk show specifically geared to Utah County and predominantly covering BYU and Utah Valley University sports, athletes, coaches and fans. There’s passion pouring out all over Cougar and Wolverine country. Course we’re not limited in our coverage. With my long and impressive list of contacts in and around the Jazz and/or those who cover the Jazz closely, we’ll always have exclusive and insightful content, will never just drink and refill the franchise Kool-Aid. AND we’ll also offer up shows (or large portions of our 3 hour shows) dedicated to serious sports issues affecting our families, children, schools and teams. Like concussions. That ‘real-world sports seminar’ is in the works.
Week 1 hot topics featured BYU Spring Football. New Cougars’ head coach Kalani Sitake’s first on-field influence of his reign in Provo. We brought many key players and coaches to our show, saw so many Alpha personalities eager to join in our movement. Bringing attention and “sweet shine” on great achievements , taking our listeners right into stories that need greater exposure and all while having fun and working hard to make “Morning Drive w/TK on ESPN 960 an entertaining morning drive experience for our listeners on ESPN 960 (and for those who live north of Utah County, most of Salt Lake County and Davis County, our experience can be yours too if you simply download the ESPN 960 Mobile App!) it’s a work in progress but our first week delivered news and stars. Jimmer Fredette, Dave Rose, Craig Bolerjack, Chad Lewis, Tanner Mangum, Riley Nelson, NBA Insider Ric Bucher, Dr Craig Manning to name just some of our impressive list of week 1 guests.
This week (Week 2) Utah Valley BKB Coach Mark Pope, nat’l NFL Insider Bob Glauber, BYU Basketball team in the WCC Tournament in Vegas, we’ll have key contributors, beat writers covering the Cougars and more. Please give us a shot, tune in, listen to what we have to say, how we say it, how we respect you and your views AND notice how many times you laugh, smirk, giggle, nod and even shake your head like crazy cause I’ve said something crazy!
