BYU vs. Arizona is all but officially moving to the soon-to-be built Las Vegas Raiders stadium.
When the Oakland Raiders and the NFL made it official that Las Vegas would be the new home for the silver and black it made sense for BYU football to pursue more options of playing games in Sin City. That is already coming to be as BYU is scheduled to play Arizona in 2021 and the location was Sam Boyd Stadium, but now it is getting a major upgrade in the new Raiders stadium.

The news is not official from either BYU or Arizona but it would make sense to move the game to a more profile stadium, plus who knows what the future of Sam Boyd Stadium holds or if it will even be standing in a few years.
This game between BYU and Arizona opens up the season on Sept 4, 2021.
Expect for a lot more college football events to take place at the new stadium, and some that could include BYU as part of a neutral site game or the occasional Las Vegas Bowl.
