Tanner Mangum can not get any hotter than he is right now. He now has two game-winning touchdowns in as many games. His first against Nebraska came in as a backup last week, and then against Boise State Mangum helped bring BYU back from a 10-point deficit and to win 35-24.
BYU had the ball and were facing a 4th-and-7 with 54 seconds, trailing 24-21, Mangum bought time and completed a 35-yard touchdown pass to Mitch Jurgens who made a great play back-peadling in the end zone and came down with the ball for the win.
For good measure, BYU not only picked off Boise State’s own last attempt at a victory but it was returned for a touchdown by Kai Nacua, who also had three interceptions in the win.
Here are both calls from Greg Wrubell.
