The Utah Jazz continue their preparations for next week’s NBA Draft as they held another pre-draft workout today as they brought in 6 players to workout for the team. This is the 16th session the Utah Jazz have held. The six players brought in today include guards Michael Frazier II from Florida, Kevin Pangos out of Gonzaga, Demarcus Harrison from Clemson, and Travis Trice out of Michigan State. They also brought in forward J.J. Avila from Colorado State and center Youssou Ndoye out of St. Bonaventure. The Utah Jazz hold 3 picks on June 25, including the 12th, 42nd, and 54th overall picks. The Jazz also say they will draft the best available player and not based on needs. It will be interesting to see what the team decides to do with their 3 picks in a week and a half. They are bring in a lot of people as they want to make sure they make the right selection. The Jazz are not far off from making the playoffs. The 12th overall pick could help them get over the bump.
Kevin Pangos is a 6′ 2″ guard out of Gonzaga who averaged 12.8 points per game during his 4-year career. He was named as the 2015 West Coast Conference player of the year. Damarcus Harrison is a 6′ 4″ guard from Clemson, who played his freshman season at BYU. He averaged 7.9 points per game his senior season with Clemson. Here he is with the media following his workout with the Utah Jazz:
Travis Trice is 6′ 0″ guard from Michigan State who recorded double-figure scoring in 29 games in the 2014-15 season where he averaged 15.3 during his senior year.
